Hiking

Secluded and overgrown with trees, no path leads to the Ellinghorst slag heap. But if you walk a few meters away from the path into the forest, you will discover this - with perhaps 15m not particularly impressive - spoil tip. The Ellinghorst stockpile is now densely overgrown with trees and undergrowth, so that an ascent is only possible in winter or spring.
