Due to the forecast weather with lots of rain and thunderstorms, we rightly started today by bus from Brückele to Plätzwiese. From there, it went quite gently up a wide dirt road to the Dürrensteinhütte. I then spared my "Achim Achilles" on my right foot while the rest conquered the summit of Strudelkopf.

Beautiful circular tour with a high proportion of forest and some, partly steep, ascents in the first 6 km. Unfortunately, all 3 towers were closed (Thursday morning). The café/restaurant "Kaiser Friedrich Turm", which is located approximately halfway along the route, only opens at 12 noon on weekdays

Leuchtturm Garratxal – Aussichtspunkt Ebro-Delta Runde von Illa de Buda
Kann man machen, muss man aber nicht. Der Weg durch das Naturschutzgebiet ist o.k., ansonsten geht es weitestgehend über Straßen und Asphalt. Wir haben sage und schreibe 1 Flamingo gesehen!😉
