As part of the urban redevelopment measure "Refurbishment of the warehouse environment", the memorial stele designed by sculptor Lucia Torge from Schrobenhausen was erected on the former Ursensollen train station in 2014. It commemorates the eventful history of the railway line from Amberg to Lauterhofen. Lucia Torge approached the subject by driving scenes from history into the stele in relief: the station keeper with a whistle and trowel; the Hoibruck; Travelers, refugees and war casualties; the hard work in building the railway line. And at the very top you can see an old passenger car, which many people will surely remember.
