The Eichendorfer Mühle is located in the Stobbertal between Buckow and Hermersdorf. Built in 1343, the mill was first mentioned in 1466. Originally it served as a pure grinding mill, later also as a sawmill. Operations ceased in 1973.
Today there is a social therapeutic facility of the Diakonisches Werk Berlin-Brandenburg on the property. The open garden ("garden of contemplation") right next to the mill is part of the therapy, e.g. by maintaining the herb garden, growing vegetables and field crops as well as creative design of the garden.
