Chno Dearg is a 3,432-foot (1,046 m) Munro in the Scottish Highlands. It can be climbed from a small car park in Fersit at the northernmost tip of Loch Treig. The ascent of Chno Dearg in the rain felt lacklustre and featureless, we walked over grassy wet ground before reaching the boulder filled upper reaches.

Bit of a big lump, but easy enough to do. Be prepared for a long boggy walk back to the parking though...

This Munro is rather featureless and would probably be a slog if not for it’s neighbouring Munro usually completed as a circular of the two. Best approached from the first Munro, walking from the west and up the southwest slope to its summit marked by a large cairn.
Descent can be made by aiming directly for the farm at Fersit and though there is no path, the Biggy sections and heather are easily tackled.
