The Hohenmirsberg plate is located north of Pottenstein, one of the main tourist points of the Franconian Switzerland. At 614 meters above sea level, the Hohenmirsberger Platte is one of the highest points in Franconian Switzerland and the northern Frankenalb. It owes this height to its position on the young uplifting zone, which moves from West Bohemia over the Fichtelgebirgsraum further to the southwest. A visit to the Hohenmirsberg Platte and a view from the approximately 22-meter high observation tower is a view from the roof of Frankenalb in all directions.

Very beautiful observation tower on the Hohenmirsberger Platte, at 614 m one of the highest elevations in the Franconian Jura. At the top you have a wonderful view, panoramic pictures help with orientation, over the "Fränkische" to the Fichtelgebirge and the "Bavarian Forest".
