The Sülz arises from the confluence of the Kürtener and Lindlarer Sülz near Hommerich in the Oberberg district, and flows primarily towards the south-south-west. In the following, the Sülz flows through the areas of Brombach, Immekeppel and Oberauel before crossing the A4 motorway at Untereschbach.
