The Naturfreundehaus Veilbronn was built in 1925 by the Fürth nature friends, fourteen years later, after a local chapter had formed in Fürth. The Naturfreundehaus is a public restaurant and a hiking base with overnight accommodation for groups and individuals. It is run on a voluntary basis by club members on weekends and public holidays.
