The Olympiastadion Berlin is located in the Berlin district of Westend. It is part of the Olympiagelände (originally: Reichssportfeld) and was built in 1934-1936 for the 1936 Summer Olympics with a capacity of 100,000 spectators on the site of the German Stadium previously located there.
