    Hiking

This rock is still a bit scary for me, since I visited it for the first time shortly before it collapsed. ( No , I am not overweight ;-) )

    - If you stay here a bit, you can get an impression of why this rock was such a good address for our ancestors.
Well protected, close to the water and a view of the plain, it is definitely an almost perfect base camp for early hunting nomads.

The spatial proximity of the federal sandstone and limestone formation is geologically interesting.

    Hiking

The Hohfels is a limestone reef and an open cave with a narrow passage. It is not easy to visit the altitude because of the risk of collapse. Wild animal bones, ceramic vessels and jewelry were found here, which suggest a human dwelling in the high Middle Ages.
