120 magnificent Japanese cherry trees adorn this section of the Berlin Wall Trail. The best time to stroll along here to enjoy the pink splendor is between mid and late April.

The cherry trees come from a fundraiser by a Japanese TV station that collected for the trees on the occasion of the reunification. A total of 9,000 trees were donated, a large part came to Berlin and is now in various places along the old border strip.

Fantastically beautiful trees unfortunately with a fence in between. In the flowering season, be sure to watch next to the cherry blossoms on Bornholmer Straße. Caution, very tight time window.
