This view can be reached via various, sometimes quite challenging paths, or climbing over the wall on which you stand up here. No matter which way you use, the view is always worth it in clear weather. Up to Leipzig you can easily look in clear air.

On the Gaudlitzberg there used to be a sacrificial table that served as a place of worship for the people of the region. You can still see different formations, although they may be younger and may have been created by stone mining.
