From the still green foliage tunnel, the view opens onto a fantastically unrolled Düsseldorf skyline; perfectly illuminated by the slanting autumn sun.
At a monstrous wooden cross, the Hochkreuz Eickener Busch, the Höhenweg ends abruptly in front of the A3, under which we cross the Düssel again and climb over to the Stindertalweg at Erkrath-Nord.”
