The sign greets us with a "Be nice to each other at de Maria im Tal". This 1.50 m high concrete figure was donated to the local history association "Ercroder Jonges" by its member Detlef Nitze and placed here on the former church path of the farmers, the hiking path "Maria im Tal". The "Ercroder Jonges" repaired the old way beforehand and probably also had to struggle with some bureaucratic hurdles before the "Maria im Tal" could be set up.
