    Hiking

There is a small lake 10 meters upstream. We were able to have a wonderful picnic break here. After a while the cows came to drink. It was wonderful to watch the whole thing.
In general, it is a very beautiful river with beautiful vegetation and the stone bridge is a great photo opportunity.

Like its counterpart at Teignhead Farm this clapper bridge spans the North Teign river and is situated just a stones throw from Scorhill Stone Circle, Its a lovely little bridge this one, well worth stopping for a moment especially if the weather is good. Views are slightly restricted due to it sitting in a slight valley but westwards you can still see Watern Tor across Gidleigh Common.
