The Fisherman's Path is stunning at every time of year and well worth visiting time and again in different seasons to see all its personalities. It runs along the River Teign through northern Dartmoor, and leads you west, under Castle Drogo from the 17th-century Fingle Bridge. As paths go, it doesn't get much more beautiful, particularly in late spring.

take plenty of water on hot days. Definitely worked up a sweat on the incline! Beautiful spots all a long the Bank to stop and take in the views and nature.
