Hike along the banks of the River Teign and you will see impressive crags erupting vertically out of the gorge. Once climbed, these crags boast exceptional views of the Teign Gorge, Castle Drogo, the Chagford area, and Dartmoor's high north plateau around Hangingstone Hill.

The ancient woodlands along the river are home to various birds and Fallow deer, while Dartmoor ponies graze on Piddledown Common. Wildflowers like bluebells and heather add seasonal color to your journey. This trail blends natural beauty with cultural landmarks, making it a popular choice for intermediate walkers.
