The wonderfully-shaped Watern Tor is one of the most distinctive in Dartmoor. Giving the hugely popular Haytor Rocks a run for its money, the precisely-layered strips of granite that comprise the tor are testament to Mother Nature’s artistic prowess. Watern Tor has the added benefit of being a much less visited than sites like Haytor, due to it being a little more off-the-beaten track.
