Forest playground in the Bavarian Forest National Park

The forest play area in the Bavarian Forest National Park: play and nature experience for the whole family according to the motto "understand nature while playing". The approximately 50 hectare adventure area holds countless adventures ready. Just the thing for a family outing - no matter what time of year! The nature experience path offers unusual insights into the forest at ten interesting stations: making music with natural materials, feeling plants, feeling the forest floor barefoot, listening to the sounds of birds: all of this is possible on the approximately two-kilometer-long path.

You can slide, climb, play or swing on the playgrounds. Even a zip line is available. Some of the attractions - like large parts of the paths in the forest playground - are barrier-free, for example there is a seesaw for wheelchair users.

Please note: Most of the playground equipment is dismantled in winter, but the area is still worth a visit. For example, igloos and snow sculptures can be built on the forest meadow.
