The flood retention basin Simonsbachtal (also Simonsbach storage, Simonsbach reservoir) at Donzdorf and Unterweckerstell is one of three reservoirs in the district Göppingen, Baden-Württemberg. The water association Fils completed it in May 1983. Moated is the Simonsbach, which flows behind the basin over the Seizenbach in Donzdorf in the Lauter. The flood retention basin is normally only partially dammed up; most of the basin is kept ready for flood protection.
The small reservoir is a natural paradise where many birds live. There are action days adventure Simonsbachstausee.
