The Vogelhof, which used to be rather poor, was then bought by a Donzdorf businessman a few years ago and expanded very nicely. Initially, he wanted to block the path - the so-called Vogelsteig - through the estate from Unterweckerstell towards Oberweckerstell. But since this has been a common path since time immemorial, he had to back down. In the meantime he has bought the entire Messelberg from the city of Donzdorf. He also took over the Spatzenberg (west of the Vogelhof) from a private individual. He is in a clinch with another Donzdorfer citizen about a hut breaching a border.
