Beautiful wide view over the southern edge of the Franconian Forest. Due to the quality of the road, the road towards Wallenfels is more suitable for an ascent, which is also the much sportier one with an average gradient of approx. 9% over 2.5 km. On the descent through Wartenfels you should drive very carefully when passing through the town. The section is steep, narrows and has confusing turns.
