Tip: A few meters further on Mühlengasse, an entire row of houses was demolished in recent years, and the medieval city wall was exposed and reconstructed. A long staircase now leads to the Römerberg Bastion and thus to the Old Town.
Update 2024/2025: The staircase has since been completely rebuilt, and the surrounding buildings have been demolished. As a result, the staircase is now integrated into the exposed structure of the historic city wall.
