Already in 2016 the decision was made to close the zoo and turn it into an Ecoparque. Some of the animals still eke out an existence on the site, as not every species can be easily released into the wild. The redesign of the park has obviously been going on for a long time, since numerous buildings are scaffolded and inaccessible or are waiting for rededication.

Hiking
This is a great addition to Buenos Aires. I thought it was a super well organised place with a very family orientated feel to it. A very pretty park and busy for a good reason.
