Erste wirkliche Radtour seit fast 3 Jahren, zum Glück mit E-Antrieb 😉. Unterwegs eine Perlfarm besucht und danach eine Vanillefarm bei denen uns die verschiedenen Prozesse erklärt wurden. Zum Finale wenn die Fahrräder abgestellt waren, noch der Besuch in der Rum-Destillerie. Der kleine Laden verkauf auch sein eigenes Bier.

Botanischer Garten, Raiatea 🏝 🇵🇫👣🚤🌥
Mit dem Beiboot den Fluss hoch und den botanischen Garten besucht. Noch einen Abstecher zu André auf der gegenüberliegenden Flussseite der uns seinen Garten gezeigt hat, uns diverse Früchte probieren ließ und verkauft hat.

On the small, uninhabited island, thousands of seabirds nest. What I could identify were the White-capped noddy, which were the largest local population. Further on the Brown noddy and the Fairy tern. The Red-footed booby were just raising their young.
