The Prechtaler Schanze was a defensive position in the fight against France over 300 years ago.
Parts of the Schanze can still be seen in the thicket.

The Prechtaler Schanze is at 836 meters and was once a strategic point in the network of defensive ramparts against France. Parts of the ski jumps are still preserved and can be visited.
