Hamburg is the only megacity in the world, through which a ten-meridian runs in the center. The 10th meridian runs in Hamburg through the outer and the Binnenalster. At the Outer Alster he is marked there by straightening beacons, which each consist of a lower and upper beacon.
In Hamburg between Binnenalster and Außenalster located on the east side of the Kennedy Bridge in the footpath embedded mark the 10th degree of longitude east longitude.
Unfortunately, the inscription is currently almost unrecognizable - but that does not matter - you can see by the mark where it goes and I find that very interesting.

Good views over the Alster. Can get very busy. Lots of restaurants close by.
