Trinity Church

Trinity Church (translated: "Trinity Church", often called "Wall Street") is one of New York's most famous churches. It is located between Broadway and Trinity Place just opposite the northwestern end of Wall Street and is the site of worship for a community in the US Episcopal Church. (Wikipedia)

The neo-Gothic church from 1846 is an exotic sight in Manhattan's sea of skyscrapers, but a wonderfully beautiful one with flair! This also applies to the adjacent cemetery, where some well-known figures such as Alexander Hamilton are laid to rest.

Between the skyscrapers, the church looks very small, really subdued by the size of the human, earthly buildings all around. Nice memorial of yesteryear placed in the right place.
