The Dürkheim giant barrel is a barrel-shaped building.

With a diameter of 13.5 m, it has a volume of around 1,700,000 liters corresponding to 1700 m³, making it the largest barrel in the world.

However, it is not used to store liquids, but houses a restaurant where you can eat typical Palatinate dishes

Eguisheim - one of the most beautiful places in Alsace

Eguisheim has been considered "one of the most beautiful villages in France" since 2003.

This medieval town was built around the castle.

It is well known for its abundance of flowers in summer and for its Christmas markets in winter.

We put ourselves back a few centuries 😅

Château de Pierre-de-Bresse - The moated castle from 1680 is now a listed historical monument 🏰

Since 1959 there has been a nursing home in the outbuildings of the castle. We found this really great... what a great atmosphere 🤩

Otherwise it is a museum, which receives

La Canourgue is a town and commune with 2,146 inhabitants in southern France

The narrow streets in the old town center (bourg) with their houses built of quarry stone and half-timbered give a medieval impression.

The current parish church (Église Saint-Martin) is the last remnant of the medieval Benedictine

      Cap de Norfeu

A 10 km cliff path hike 🥾🥾🎒 with an unbelievably great view was our goal today.

Through an extensive nature reserve, we went very close to the abyss to Cap de Norfeu.

We snaked our way up past hundreds of cacti 🌵 and old ruins 🏚️.

This view 👁️ over the sea, to the bays 🏖️ is simply beautiful 🤩

Along the cliffs from Roses in the direction of Platja de Canyelles Petites (sandy beach in a bay) we were able to enjoy the sunset a little longer
