Ochsenfurt Old Town

The historic old town is framed by an almost complete fortification with numerous city gates and towers, the half-timbered house line and the New Town Hall from the 15th century with a unique figure and moon clock in the lancet tower can be admired, as well as the Old Main Bridge, the second oldest stone bridge Germany applies.

Not far from Würzburg in southern Mainviereck lies Ochsenfurt. Ochsenfurt can be wonderfully built as a stopover on the way from Rothenburg to Würzburg. On the Taubertalradweg to Bieberehren and then 38 km on the Gaubahn bike path car-free and paved over to Ochsenfurt. From there comfortable without gradients along the Main, a very great day trip with many impressions, where you can have a good lunch at Ochsenfurt.
