Originally built in 1925 and rebuilt in 2013/2014, the war memorial is located north of the Hoffnungskirche on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße. It is reminiscent of the Rüdersdorf victims of the First World War.

The memorial for the fallen of the First World War is located right next to the Hoffnungskirche Alt-Rüdersdorf. A stone column made of roughly hewn stones stands on a three-tiered pedestal, the upper end is also tiered. An iron cross is enthroned on it. On each side, except the back, there is a stone relief with a steel helmet in front of crossed sidearms in the upper area, below each a metal name plate and below the words "Den Helden" in the wreath. With the nameplates, a distinction is made between West, East and elsewhere.
