Eine wunderschöne Runde war das, auf sehr vielen, mir bis dato unbekannten, Wegen. Asphalt, Schotter, Waldwege im Wechsel, es wurde nicht langweilig. Eigentlich eine wunderschöne Route, eigentlich, weil es kurz vor der Königsstraße durch den Naturpark Ammergebirge anfing zu regnen und das nicht zu knapp.

This route is highly recommended, surely wonderful in good weather. Although I have already ridden the Königsstraße with the exciting water crossing in September 23, but at that time I turned off towards Roßhaupten. Good thing the water level was low today, despite the rain.

Bright sunshine wakes us (late 😃) and we are once again impressed by the kindness of the operators and employees of B&B Mittenwald. The breakfast buffet, on second glance, offers pretty much everything your heart desires, not 5 stars but excellent value for money.

Da die Zugfahrten gut geklappt haben, sind wir spontan heute noch zum Isarursprung gefahren. Eine atemberaubende Landschaft, stellenweise wirklich märchenhaft anmutend.

A brand new B&B Hotel with incredibly nice operators awaits us in Mittenwald. A large bicycle & ski room on the ground floor houses our bikes. Sockets at every bike parking space. The reception with a roof terrace and lounge is on the top floor.
We check in and spontaneously decide to drive to the source

18/2026 Tag 1 A Anfahrt Bahnhof Tannheim
Erstmal völlig unspektakulär zum Bahnhof. Stufe in den Zug ca 30-40 cm hoch,
alleine mit schwerem Pedelec mit Gepäck keine Chance.
Zwei freundliche Herren, einer davon selbst mit Rad (Foto) haben geholfen. Klippe 1 geschafft 😀👍
