A lap around the Rottachsee 😄
The lake is about 4.8 km long and about 900 m wide.
The deepest point is 35 m.
The lake is used in a variety of ways, for swimming 🏊‍♀️, surfing 🏄, diving 🤿, by SUP enthusiasts, boaters 🚣‍♀️ and anglers 🎣.
Nevertheless, it has a few protected zones that cannot be bathed or entered in order to protect the settled fauna and flora.
Despite today's super sunny day, there was not a lot going on on the circular hiking trail, about 14.5 km long, on the contrary, there were even individual, very lonely sections 🙂The path is used equally by hikers 🚶🏼‍♀️, Nordic walkers, joggers 🏃🏼‍♀️, cyclists 🚴🏼‍♀️ and horse riders 🏇, but it is easy to avoid it.
It has no significant gradients or difficulties, the texture is either tar or gravel, suitable for prams.
There are always kiosks to take a break along the route.
So far it went well with my leg, only downhill is still a bit uncomfortable 🙃

Very interesting round in the east of Ulm. The Wilhelmsburg walks around with impressive fortress walls.

Alternative program for small groups; we were there today "around the corner" and have circled the Wilhelmsburg / fortress including the barracks. See also die-wilhelmsburg.de/historieAn incredibly fascinating complex, not only structurally but also historically.
The entire circular fortress trail is around 12km long, but I can't / may not go yet 😉
The story of how the fortress was built in the course of the loose alliance of states in the 19th century is very interesting and can be read on the boards. There are always guided tours every first Sunday of the month, information on the HP.
The approximately 1.3 hectare inner courtyard of the facility is regularly used for cultural events, concerts, etc.
Maintaining the system is very time-consuming and costly.
The fortress itself is ABSOLUTELY worth seeing, but can hardly be seen in one day!

Well, that was nothing ... 🙄
Must be easy on the leg after all, even on a flat track it doesn't work really well.
But still: Finally walking a bit again! 😄
It rained all the time, but that didn't matter at all 🙂
The pictures of the rainbow 🌈 and the sunset are not from the tour but from home 😉

Currently somewhat disabled, therefore alternative excursions without walking too much 😁
So today we visited the street food market in Markdorf and strolled a bit through the city ...

A small group for feet in the Laupheim Castle Park.
The viaduct is great as a photography object or background!

Scavenger hunt with the 3 sponsored children 11/7/7, who were with us to camp from Saturday to Sunday.
In addition to setting up the tent, everyone building a chair out of wood, making a campfire, grilling with sausages and bread on a stick, it started at 10pm:
First find the way using a map, then with the help of a trail of gold coins and then with arrows, the kids had to solve a few tasks and at the same time they learned something about the nocturnal forest 🌲🌳🌲🌳, the animals there 🦌🐗🐇🐿🐀🦇🦔 🦉 and some constellations 🪐⭐🌠🌌
And today they were allowed to ride 🐎!
      An exhausting kids WE 😄

      Made a mother-daughter day today for my mom's 70th birthday 🎂💐🍹👒⛵
Since Corona is not bypassed productively with large celebrations, we made a trip to Meersburg with a boat tour 🤗
A really nice day with my mom!

At short notice yesterday evening at 9 p.m. decided ...
      And start early this morning!
For me, the Kleinwalsertal is one of the most beautiful corners of the Alps here in the Allgäu Alps - Austria.
Usually not extremely crowded; Most hikers / bikers get stuck further up in D 😉
As soon as you are away from the place, you are really "right" in the mountains! 🤩
A fantastic view chases the other and, to be honest: I really should have chiseled out my happy grin during the tour 😆🤭
Yes ... and then it was just so nice that the peaks somehow didn't appeal to me ... 🤔
And I just left them out; but: I am missing nothing ... 😄
Totally recommended, even without a summit!
A stop at the Mindelheimer hut is of course mandatory! 🍺

Well, the weather forecast for today was more than uncertain.
And from the tour yesterday we were so far served that we decided to walk down the "lower" Allgäu, i.e. up to 1500m above sea level.
      We chose the doggy corner.
What initially looks like a leisure tourist park (summer toboggan run, playground, mini golf, mountain lifts, etc.) goes very quickly as soon as you walk a little upwards and away from the lift routes ....
Then you come across surprisingly lonely and really beautiful mountain trails with wonderful views, e.g. on the Denneberg with a great view of the complete nail chain 🤩
And, if you like, you will always find an alp to stop at! 🍻🥪
So absolutely recommendable, for example, the Sonnalpe, which has been operated by a really old dairy farmer for over 40 years and who maintains you with very funny anecdotes 😄😄😄
So don't let the tourist hotspot "Hündle" scare you, just look behind it, it's worth it !!! 👍🏼
