The moon was so warm and only a few days off being full - might be the only opportunity to see this moon if the forecasted tempest is correct

Furtive Squirrels 🐿️

There are definitely autumnal vibes on the trails, crunchy leaves are crisp and dusty, while long yellowing grass sways in exhaustion..

Fairy Rain ☔️ 🧚

I spent a good 10 minutes trying to locate my waterproof jacket this morning, only for the forecasted “rain” to be just the lightest dusting of H20 you’ve ever seen! 🤣.

Dragonflies on Dusty Trails

Squirrels gallop dashed across the trail, with secretive springiness, and dragonflies danced ahead of me, guiding my flight before breaking away to seek another side-quest.

I haven’t had a chance to cycle to Calke much this year because of heatwaves, so it was shock to see how dry and parched…

Waves and Trees - Sherringham to Cromer

I set off at 6am… I didn’t sleep a wink in the YHA dorm due to some prolific snoring. 🙉

I had planned to eat breakfast on the beach, but the tide was high and still coming in, plus very breezy, so I made my way up the hill and…

Waves and Trees - Weybourne to Sherringham

Adventures that start on a beach are always the best! I took a tumble into some vicious brambles and ferns only a few minutes into the ride - turns out that the sand is pretty deep in places and my wheels refused to go where I wanted them to 😅.

Have you ever been to Foremark Reservoir thats a nice place to cycle round, its got man made beaches. Can go all the way around it (i think). Obviously it will be packed out now but maybe go when kids back at school. Its a National Trust car park. There is a few car parks not just the main one. Its a nice place.

lovely area, only got to see the stones by bike lights on a 400km audax last year, very atmospheric when they were looming into the beams of our LED's
