Gravel Ride
Chill ride out to Willington using the Trent canal, back to Derby and home. Certainly feels like late September rather than August. Had a very friendly black sheep bleating loudly at me near Mickleover. Well, I guess it takes one to know one😄

Lud's Church Gorge loop from The Roaches
Sunday walk with the boys, easy 3.5 miles from the Roaches to Lud's church. First hour lovely and quiet, guess it took some time for people to wake up after last night's game 😁

Local 30 miler, out on the Raleigh Triathlon and the Kellog Pro Tour. Steel frames, downtube shifters 😁 Love and Piste closed Mon-Wed, so coffee at home.
Few very unpleasant drivers, hope they have a day they deserve.

First day of the July 300 miles challenge for Cancer Research

Coffee ride
Lovely ride despite the heat. Probably spent more time chatting in Love&Piste than actually riding, met really lovely people. Tyre blew up on my devil child on the way home so an additional 2 mile walk, but all in all a great day out.

Started out as a 50 miler down Leicester way, chain snapped on the Giant into my first 5 miles. Walk of shame to the local pub, waiting for rescue (with coffee), picked up the Genesis, decided to do a freestyle gravel/canal instead, coffee and cake in Beeston.

Morning spin
Small loop out to Bunny and back. Must say some bits were absolutely terrible, I mean can we still call them potholes when they stretch across half the lane? Got lucky with the weather as it only started raining as I arrived home.

Ladybower & the Derwent Dam loop — Peak District National Park
Morning walk around the reservoir with the boys. Last time we were here Andrew was 1, time flies.
For a Sunday very quiet, few runners and dogwalkers, few mountain bikes too
Had an amazing coffee at Fairholmes, then headed home.
