Started in fog, it wasn't long before the sun increasingly fought its way through and then burned at noon, just in time for the 2nd long climb 🥵.
Overall, it was another beautiful and very varied stage. This stage felt like a summary of the previous stages: a constant change of all types of paths, dense

Today's stage was, in my opinion, the easiest so far. It felt like there were 60% wide paths and the rest was split between narrow trails and overgrown sections. At least there were almost no brambles and nettles today 👍.
Only around km 17 did it get a bit tricky: the path was so overgrown that I couldn

Today I needed an asphalt tour, preferably tick-free.
Well, as it happens, the asphalt worked out, but being tick-free didn't 😅.
I hadn't been to these two reservoirs for ages, so this wonderful tour, yes despite the asphalt 😉, just presented itself in the predicted rain.
The rain held off and I could

A mixed stage, even though I enjoyed it overall again.
The first half, up to Au, was mostly on narrow forest and field paths, but they were often so overgrown that they were barely recognizable, and I won't say anything more about the markings.
After yesterday I had brambles and nettles up to my head

Wow🤩 what a beautiful stage.
Yes, long and strenuous, but worth every effort.
Actually, I wanted to be finished with the stage already in January, but the daylight window for my long stages simply wasn't enough.
There's not much to say about today's stage: just do it 🤩🫠
Many beautiful and narrow paths

Today I had a 'furry friend duty' again and "got" to look after my daughter's dog. 😍
For her, it was the first time to the Hohenstein. Always beautiful there and the forest had pleasant temperatures.
Unfortunately, photographing butterflies wasn't really possible, Fee is simply too curious 🤷♀️.
Oh yes

Haven't been here in a long time and after seeing this fantastic route yesterday at @Michael 🚶♂️, it was clear: today it's off to Elfringhauser Schweiz.
I adjusted the tour a bit for myself, including the starting point.
Over wonderfully varied paths, it went in constant ups and downs through the forest

@Ela, Chewee🐶 😉 and I finally met again today for a joint hike. We started with the shadeless section before heading into the shady forest. With beautiful views of the reservoir again and again, we went over beautiful and cozy paths, often through the forest. Due to the temperatures, it was definitely

Today I accompanied @Claudi @Andreas O.🥾🚲 on the "water route" of the Hohe Mark Steig. We "had to"😉 first go to the end of the actual trail, as it was still missing for the two of them.
From there, we followed the turquoise marking of the water route. It led over familiar and cozy, mostly shady paths

Today then for the final sprint. The sun was hardly forecast, so it should be bearable.
I took this actually rather boring stage, not for the first time, in my own variant. This is more varied, closer to nature and still leads over marked paths.
In Os Muiños I turned back onto the Senda de Rio Negro and

What can I say: whoever doesn't want to start at 5:00 AM with a headlamp, but rather at 6:15 AM, will be grilled by the sun from 10:00 AM onwards 🥵🥵🥵 and will have managed 5 km less without heat 🤷♀️.
On today's stage it was really "unlucky", because about 90% was without shade, although scenically

What heat, even an early start and forest paths didn't help much.
At least I still had the bigger climb at a fresh 17 °C, before descending to one of my favorite bridges, the Ponte Maceira from the 13th century.
Even though some areas are now closed, it was still beautiful again.
The rest of the day consisted

Today it was time for the final sprint to SdC. After overtaking 3 school classes, the path became wonderfully quiet. Already got a first glimpse of the cathedral at Monto Gozo and headed down to the city. Thanks to my relatively early arrival at 9:45 am, it was still wonderfully quiet in front of the

What else can I say about Komoot 😖😖😖.
Again, the original tour was not saved, so the altitude gain, distance, and average speed are missing.
According to support, "there's nothing we can do".
So, now for the tour: thanks to the overnight stay between the stages, I had the first approx. 8 km to myself

Today the last stage.
Because the markings were very sparse anyway, I only noticed late that there were none left, because the Natursteig Sieg actually only goes to Mudersbach😅.
As usual, the paths were mixed again and since the asphalt part was mainly in the towns, it was okay for me.
The ascents were
