Stroll through the Hamburg city park at 10 degrees in the morning.
For me it was refreshing childhood memories, good and bad.
Barbecuing is allowed in the meadows. There are extra garbage cans for the rest of the charcoal.
There is a huge paddling pool with playgrounds for children and swimming is also allowed in the large lake.
On the "Love Island" you can rent boats outside of Corona and sail through the Alster canals.
So a green lung with lots of leisure opportunities.
Oh yes, if allowed again, there are also various restaurants.

After the first part led to List-Weststrand on the beach today, I took the bus to Kampen-Mitte and then started walking.
I saved myself the Uwedüne, because firstly it was very full and secondly it felt like I was up there 30 times in the course of my life.
In Weningstedt, halfway there, you can take an excellent break.
There is food there on the promenade, including ToGo, in all price ranges or just an ice cream. Or your own picnic on one of the benches or in the meadow.
From here the rest of the way is unfortunately paved, but mostly sheltered from the wind.
If you like, you can switch to the promenade from the Sunset Beach bar. Mask compulsory at the moment

For me there is nothing better than a morning walk on the beach on the almost deserted beach.
Yes, forests and mountains are great, but the best way to relax and slow down is in the "real" sea.
It is best to walk the route at low tide, as the beach is then firmer and therefore easier to walk and the section between Kampen and List is relatively narrow for Sylt conditions.
I think the direction of travel is the best, because it usually gives you a tailwind and the sand doesn't grind between your teeth or scratch your glasses. 😉
From List-Weststrand I took the bus to Kampen-Mitte, where the second part started today. Otherwise the distance in between would have been road.
Oh yes, as a little tip, since there are no trees or bushes on the beach😉.
In Kampen, you can see a large platform with benches and beach chairs, there are very good sanitary facilities at the spa card house. 🙈

My tour today was my contribution to the Viking Donation Walking Marathon. This tour features surf, mud flats and heather.
So just everything that makes Sylt special 😍
Since the mudflats on the Braderuper Heide are breeding and resting places for birds, it was pretty loud there, in a positive sense 👍
We went back by bus. But there is also the possibility to go back by train.

A wonderful tour that was really fun.
For once, a tour without clearing, thanks to mixed forest.
However, the paths are already shockingly dry.
Note the last photo for tour planning!
I parked at the hiking car park (small) Talsperrenweg.
Summary:No: mudLittle: people, forest road, asphalt (only crossings), climbing, stream crossings without bridgesMuch: Forest path: wide, narrow, hardly / not recognizable.Sufficient: benches👍😉

A nice, leisurely tour on mostly wide paths, but with little asphalt.
The paths were already terribly dry. There was only slight mud left in 1-2 places.
There were surprisingly few people around.
The parking lot at the start costs € 2.00. However, someone will probably only be there to check out from 9.00 a.m.

With the weather today I had to do an after-work tour.
At the weekend this area should be a bit crowded.
Result: I was thrilled 👍👍👍
Both the Rotbachaue area and the path along the Spechtsbach were so beautiful that I could have walked back and forth all day 🤩🤩, small paths that meandered through the forest near the stream and were sometimes only recognizable as a hint.
Nevertheless, one had a "wide" view of the forest.
Every now and then it went through a side arm of the stream, but no problem with sturdy shoes.
I already knew the lakes from my tour on November 20, so I liked them better.
Today I missed the birds, could also have been due to the time of day.
There were also some broad connecting paths, as if drawn with a ruler, but didn't bother me. A small piece of road, about 250m to a motorcycle meeting point, in between was ok, but after that I had to be careful that I found the junction in the way, Figure 26.
The Haniel dump was nice to end with a view of the Ruhr area. I really liked the downhill way of the cross, it also lowered the average pace, but if you are interested, you should take some time for it. It is a combination of mining history and religious or social texts.
Overall, it was a nice and interesting route for me.

After I lost my motivation for a short time this morning while packing my rucksack, instead of taking the car to Münsterland, I spontaneously went to my daughter to get a sandwich and have breakfast.
At 8.30 am it was wonderfully empty at the lake. That should definitely look different now.
Even if it is almost my daily standard lap, the route via PhönixWest and the PhönixSee is always beautiful and, above all, car-free😉
