Wanderung mit OG-Siegtal WF: Michael Dichter Nebel im Ahrtal – unterwegs auf dem vernebelten Rotweinwanderweg! Von Mayschoß aus führte uns der Nebel direkt hinein in einen der schönsten Abschnitte des Rotweinwanderwegs: den Felsenweg. Anfangs war alles grau und geheimnisvoll, der Weg schmal, fast intim. Er schlängelte sich zwischen Felswänden und sanft geneigten Weinbergen hindurch. Unter uns lag der Nebel wie ein ruhiger See, darüber spannte sich ein weiter, blauer Himmel. Der Blick öffnete sich über das Ahrtal, auf Mayschoß und hinauf zur markanten Silhouette der Saffenburg. Die Burgruine thronte über dem Ort und schenkte uns einen der eindrucksvollsten Ausblicke der Region (völlig zurecht 2020 als „Schönste Weinsicht“ ausgezeichnet). Aussicht – ein einmaliger Klassiker im Gebirge des Ahrtals.
