Tierpark Nordhorn
Heute waren wir im Tierpark Nordhorn. Ein sehr schöner Tierpark, wo es unter anderem viele alte Nutztierrassen gibt und mit der Ruhrtop-Card zahlt man nur den halben Eintrittspreis. In den Bäumen sind sehr viele Storchennester.

Kurze Tour am Rhein: Kaiserpfalz Kaiserswerth und Wasserschloss Kalkum
Heute waren wir am Rhein und haben uns die Kaiserpfalz in Kaiserswerth und das Wasserschloss Kalkum angesehen. Von innen kann es nicht besichtigt werden.
Von den drei Seen hat man leider nicht viel gesehen, da sie sehr zugewachsen sind.
Am Ende habe ich noch ein paar hundert Meter der Fahrt…

Heute sind wir die zweite kürzere Etappe des Lüner Rundwanderweges gelaufen.

Kettwigroute – Tag der Steige 2026

Steveraue Olfen
Heute haben wir eine schöne Runde durch die Steverauen bei Olfen gemacht. Dort kann man immer viele Tiere beobachten, deshalb ist es gut, wenn man ein Fernglas dabei hat. Kermeter - Abtei Mariawald - Schwammenauel
Heute fuhren wir wieder mit dem Bus zum Kermeter, um von dort zur Abtei Mariawald und weiter durch das Herbstbach- und Steinbachtal nach Schwammenauel zu wandern. Heimbach mit Burg Hengebach
Heute sind wir auf dem Dschungelpfad am Staubecken Heimbach entlang zur Burg Hengebach und dann weiter durch Heimbach und Hasenfeld zurück zum Rursee gelaufen.
Der Aufstieg zur Burg ist sehr steil. Es gibt allerdings auch einen Aufzug zur Burg hoch, der war aber heute defekt.
