Pecca Falls

Highlight • Viewpoint

If you are completing the fabulous Ingleton Waterfall Walk, Pecca Falls will be your first encounter. The lower fall is the highest and you get a fantastic view from the footbridge crossing the River Twiss. Not far above are the Pecca Twin Falls.

Hollybush Spout Waterfall

Highlight • Waterfall

Hollybush Spout is a dramatic and powerful waterfall with a drop of approximately 30 feet (9 m). It's set within a deep narrow, rocky cleft.

Thornton Force waterfall

Highlight • Natural Monument

Dropping 46 feet (14 m) over a limestone cliff, Thornton Force will take your breath away when it comes into view. Interestingly, there are several layers to the rock behind the falls and it's possible to measure over 170 million years of geological evolution within the span of one hand.

However, if you are at Thornton Force when the weather is fine, you might be more interested in embracing the water for a refreshing dip and basking in the rocky amphitheatre where it's located. During peak times it can get busy here, so choose your moment to visit.

Beezley Falls

Highlight • Natural Monument

If you are following the Ingleton Waterfall Trail, this is the first fall you encounter on the return part of the journey. There are two sections to Beezley Falls, the main drop followed by the Triple Spout. You are afforded brilliant views of both parts, particularly the Triple Spout which is right next to the path.

Baxenghyll Gorge Waterfall

Highlight • Waterfall

From the viewing bridge at Baxenghyll Gorge, you're afforded a dramatic view of the River Doe far below. If heights are not your thing, then this might not be for you. For most people, though, you will find this terrific view as thrilling as it is stunning.
