With just under 900 meters in the climb, the second day tour is a real mountain stage. In return, some first-class panoramic views await you on the ridge above the Höllenbachtal.Freshly rested and full of energy, you start your second stage in Buchenbach. Right at the beginning is the ascent to Nesselachen. The hilltop marks the westernmost point of the ridge above the Höllenbachtal and is about 1,000 meters high. Until then, it is necessary to overcome almost 600 vertical meters. But after your ascent, you have made almost the entire ascent of today's stage, because the other vertical meters spread evenly over the rest of the route. Just a few meters from the Nesselachen you can already expect a first vantage point. The view to the west over the mountains and into the Rhine plain is just great. On a wonderful hiking trail, continue on the ridge in the direction of Titisee. Most of the time you wander through dense spruce forest, but at several viewpoints, the crossroads reward you with picturesque views of the Höllenbachtal. With the most beautiful panoramas you will find at the post-bank and especially on the Piquetfelsen.A short distance behind the Piquetfelsen the crossroads roams the Ravenna gorge. If you still have energy, you can still make a detour here. Otherwise, you will continue hiking to Birklehof and Hinterzarten. Especially Hinterzarten awaits you with a good selection of refreshments. Now only a wooded ridge separates you from Lake Titisee. On forest trails it goes over the hilltop and then in serpentines a little downhill. The crossroads will take you along the southern shore of Lake Titisee to the town of the same name, today's destination.
