Today we stopped at Leonard Harrison State Park. This Park has a stunning view if the canyon and surrounding area. We now know why they call it the grand canyon of Pennsylvania. SPECTACULAR views and a nice vistor center.
We did do 2 hikes that were a bit challenging for us novice hikers. Turkey trail said it was a mile down to the bottom, we turned back after about 3/4 of the way down. The path was a bit steep and tight in spots. Given the heights we thought safety the priority of the day. The overlook trail was much easier of the 2 trails. Definitely worth the visit.
