Der Pointe du Grouin teilt als Landzunge das Becken von Mont St Michel in der Normandie von der Smaragdküste im Becken von Saint-Malo in der Bretagne.
Er ragt weit und 40m hoch in das Meer hinein und war deswegen auch ein strategischer Außenpunkt der Küstenverteidigung (allerdings der Deutschen unter Besatzung Frankreichs 🙈;
hat zum Glück aber nix gebracht - die Landung der Alliierten ist deutlich weiter östlich bekanntlich gelungen 😊).
Am Horizont sieht man Mont St Michel 😍
Der alte Zöllnerpfad entlang der Klippen ist ein Traum ❤️.
