In Neuruppin angekommen, machte ich gleich noch einen Stadtrundgang mit kurzem Zwischenstopp in meiner Unterkunft.
Neuruppin ist die Fontanestadt 🎩✒️📚 schlechthin. 1819 wurde der Dichter im Haus der Löwen-Apotheke geboren und er verbrachte hier seine Kinderjahre. An den berühmten Sohn der Stadt erinnert ein Denkmal vom Künstler Max Wiese.
Aber es gibt noch eine Neuruppiner Berühmtheit: Architekt Carl Friedrich Schinkel! 🏛✏️📐Auch er verbrachte seine Kindheit in Neuruppin.
Bestimmend für das Stadtbild ist die 1253 erbaute Klosterkirche St.Trinitatis, über die natürlich auch Fontane schrieb.💒
