July 19, 2024,Von Barßel entlang der Leda nach Leer, zurück dann an der Jümme entlang...
The starting point for today's tour was Barßel. And it started with a shock: we had forgotten the charging cable from the power bank to the route planner. We thought for a moment: the next TEDI is not far away. They helped us there....

February 5, 2025,Potshuser oll Karkhoff
In the Hammrich between Leda and Jümme, several medieval settlements existed that later had to be abandoned, probably because of the rising sea level. One of these settlements is the "Oll Potshuser Karkhoff" from which a slight elevation of perhaps one meter is clearly visible, especially in winter. The eponymous assignment to Pothausen is arbitrary, Potshausen already existed before that.

Got wet again on the way to Leer but was immediately blown dry again by the strong breeze.
Delicious fish eaten at “Mein Genuss Reich”.
On the way back there was even a bit of sun but still a lot of wind.
