The Evenburg Alley, also known as the Great Alley, first appeared on a map in 1787, but it is not known how long before that it had been laid out. The historic avenue is laid out in four rows with magnificent linden trees in the main avenue and oaks and beeches in the side avenues and is around 900 metres long. The so-called ‘sky line’ is particularly noteworthy, which is deliberately kept clear by those responsible for the park.
