Of course there's a lot going on today with the weather. It was a little quieter on the north side.
I was glad that I had the Grödeln with me, it was much more relaxed.

From the parking lot at the Ebersberger Alm we went straight up to the observation tower on the Ludwigshöhe. Approx. 160 steps up to a great view not only to Ebersberg but to the Alps in the south and to Munich in the north-west.

The idea for this tour came from friends who live nearby. The approach led us through the "Ebersbacher Forst". With an area of around 90 km², the Ebersberger Forest is one of the largest contiguous forest areas in Germany that is not interrupted by any settlement. Ebersberg is about 30 km east of Munich and about 25 km south of …

Here's information about the hike to Egglburger See.
The trail runs through the forest and outdoors, so sunscreen is necessary on warm days.

The Koomot app is very helpful with the route, as signage is poor.
The forest paths are easy to walk, and you can enjoy the beautiful forest and nature.

As always, there was a lot going on on the popular hiking tour 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. The route at the edge of the forest is always muddy, but still easy to walk.

Very nice hike near Ebersberg south of the Nebel

If we're in the east anyway... Very nice, sunny and panoramic tour from the Klostersee in a wide arc around Lake Egglburg with a stop at the Ebersberger Alm. Unfortunately the observation tower was closed, but you also have a wonderful view at the foot of it.

Revel in old memories - this lake was very often i.R. in childhood days. who walked around on Sundays and later also with their own children. He is always beautiful.

Unfortunately, the lookout tower was - once again - closed. For whatever reason (probably Corona is over the Ebersberger Forest 🤣)...
