Ein Traumtag. Aufstieg zunächst an der Großen Laine entlang (eisig, ohne Grödel kaum machbar und gefährlich ⚠️ ), weiter auf einem schneebedeckten, teils rutschigen Forstweg, dann der lange anstrengende Steig durch lichten Wald zur Pfundsalm hinauf (rutschig erst ziemlich weit oben). Von hier über den breiten Rücken zum Gipfel hinauf, nur etwas rutschig, die Sonne hat hier schon große Teile des Wegs frei gelegt. Und nun der Gipfel, tadaaa! Wahnsinns-360°-Panorama, ein echtes Sahnehäubchen 🤩. Später sitzen wir lange auf dem Bankerl der Pfundsalm in der Sonne. Abstieg auf dem gleichen Weg.

Schöne „Es ist wenig Schnee“-Winterrunde! Steil über einen schmalen Steig hinauf, der ist fast eisfrei, nur die letzten 100hm sind etwas rutschig. Am Gipfel bin ich zeitweise ganz allein und genieße die Sonne & die Aussicht in die Ammergauer Berge. Ziemlich bequem und überraschend schneereich im großen Bogen um die Wildschutzgebiete bergab. Nur kurz vor der Romanshöhe knapp 100 unangenehme Tiefenmeter - sacksteil und sehr grob der Untergrund. Der abschließende Altherrensteig hinüber zum Ausgangspunkt Laberbergbahn schließlich entpuppt sich überraschend als abwechslungs- und aussichtsreich. Obwohl das ein ganz schöner Hatsch zum Abschluss war richtig kurzweilig.

Klassiker in der etwas ausgiebigeren Variante - es gäbe auch kürze An- und Abstiege. Der Weg nach oben verläuft im tiefen Winter komplett im Schatten, dafür hat der Abstieg Sonne satt und traumhafte Ausblicke über den Tegernsee zu bieten.
