Stop here, get off and enjoy the view a little more undisturbed. Good spot to put your bike in the limelight ;-)

In a wooded area along the south bank there is a spring called "Teifirührdi" (high German "Teufel, stir dich"). The legend of "Teifirührdi" tells of a hunter who shot a poacher. To avoid punishment, he sank it into the waterhole. Since then, the water has been bubbling in this spring and when someone calls out "Teifirührdi", he lifts his finger out and circles around - according to tradition.

Again and again very long root paths.
Not suitable for walking with prams and buggies.

Relaxed and quiet hike/walk around the lake.
Disadvantage: the motorway noises accompany me the whole time😒

"Seehamer See Circumnavigation" 🏝
In prehistoric times, several small lakes were located at this location, called "Osterseen" (after the fertility goddess Ostara). The lake contains five islands ranging in size from 300 to 1600 square meters.

Beautiful area, with plenty of shady forest paths.

Nice walk around the Seehamer See with Teufelsquelle. At the Teufelsquelle, groundwater comes visibly out of the ground. The lake is used to generate electricity for Munich.

Circumnavigation 👣 of Seehamer See.
Nice round, many wooden paths / wooden paths through the moor. But also very long root paths, not for everyone. You shouldn't do this circuit with prams.
😎 We had a refreshment on the terrace in the Seehaus restaurant 🍻.

Another short exercise loop around Lake Seehammer. This time a lot earlier, but still too late. And this time the other way around. The views are beautiful, but the noise from the adjacent highway is annoying in one section.

Fresh snow has its charm, even with fog. A car had become available near our apartment through StattAuto. So we decided to go out after all! Of course, we didn't hike across the lake, as indicated on the track.

Despite the various heavy showers this Sunday, with a little persuasion, we managed to get the kids to go for a lap around the Seehamer See. I did a wonderful run a few months ago. Today we found out that it can be quite idyllic here, even when it's wet from above and below.
