The Lutterkopf was our very first ascent on this holiday and I will have fond memories of it. Beautiful 360° all-round view, but you should definitely continue over the ridge to the Durakopf :-)

Very nice round tour on the Taistner Almweg. To the Lutterkopf it goes uphill through a forest. Above the tree line, the view leaves little to be desired. Parking fee for 5 hours 4€. Unfortunately, the descent is a bit boring, as it is a 4 km forest road.

The starting point of the hike, the Mudlerhof, can be reached by city bus. It runs approximately every hour. From the Taister Alm it takes approximately 50-60 minutes to get to the bus stop.

We actually just wanted to enjoy the beautiful view from the Lutterkopf. But we hiked further to the Durakopf with great visibility and powder snow. It was fantastic.
From the Taistner Alm you could have sledded down the forest path. There were sleds there, but unfortunately no rentals.

Today Marion, Inge and I took the bus up to the Mudler stop (Rasen-Antholz). From there a small stretch of road before the path became rocky, rooty and quite steep. But this always leads in nice shade through the forest almost to the Lutterkopf summit. From there you have a wonderful view of the Dolomites and the Antholz Valley.

Great 3 mountain peak tour with great all-round views. Highlight: the Rudlhorn. But be careful here! You should have a head for heights and be sure-footed! Bombastic view!

A beautiful circular hike with four peaks, one of which is nameless: Lutterkopf (2145 m), Durakopf (2275 m), and Salzla (2131 m). The Neue Taistner Sennalm (open for service). Magnificent views of the Antholz Valley and the Puster Valley are offered. Paths range from stony and rocky, to forest floor with plenty of roots and meadows, a wide farm track …

Steep but very nice climb through the forest. Very rooty and lots of loose rock. Good shoes are recommended. An outstanding 360 degree panorama awaits you at the top. It's almost flat on a very nice narrow path then in the direction of Durakopf, which, however, has to be worked out over the last few meters over a steep climb. …
