Very nice stage mostly on meadow paths with a fantastic view of the Bergisches Land. There is a herbal cafe in Geilenkausen. Also interesting is the information board at the Erlenbruchwald with footbridges across the wetland behind Benroth.

March 3, 2024,Hatte etwas Nachholbedarf, und mega Weitsichten.
Since I didn't get to hike throughout February due to work and the weather, I had some catching up to do.
Since the weather 🌞 and the mood 😆 was great today, I chose a slightly longer route and was actually able to enjoy a lot of views on the tour.😀😀

The penultimate stage. She went from Panarbora/Waldbröl to Nümbrecht. This tour has a lot of space in the landscape, lovely villages, lush meadows and the destination is a tranquil climatic health resort (Nümbrecht) with a beautiful old town centre. If the weather cooperates, simply pure idyll.

This stage was very nice. Mostly on meadow paths with fantastic panoramic views.
Again and again a bank from which one could enjoy this wonderful mountainous landscape. 🌞iger and warm day, but also windy. Finally D. Stage, also because of the bus, strolled through Nümbrecht. Beautiful village with lots of half-timbering and slate and small shops.
(Saturday afternoon, of course, …

After a hearty breakfast at the Denklinger Hof (you can also take bread rolls and coffee with you, I can only recommend it 👍) we set off on the penultimate stage in fantastic weather. Once again, completely alone, accompanied only by the sun and plenty of deer, we walked along beautiful paths with once again wonderful views of the treetop …

A very nice stage, it follows many beautiful meadow paths, of course offers beautiful views and nice places to stay. The herb café is recommended as a special place to stop...

A beautiful stage 😍!
The biggest highlight for me today were the beautiful meadow paths, the blooming flowers and bushes along the way and the wonderful views.
But apart from that, it is also worth stopping at the herb café in Geilenkausen and refreshing yourself with the in-house herbal lemonade 🌱, as well as climbing the observation tower in Nümbrecht.

Today I was on the penultimate stage of the Bergisches Panoramasteig, from Waldbröl to Nümbrecht. I parked in Nümbrecht and used the great bus connection to Waldbröl (about 15 minutes travel time) 👍

A perfect stage for the current weather. You are mostly on open meadow paths and only very rarely in the forest. So no shade and you get …
